5 Reasons To Play Ukulele ... It's Easy!
I've been playing ukulele for a few years. I got my first ukulele on a whim, as an impulse purchase, and quickly grew my collection. In my time playing the ukulele, this is what I realized; Is a funny instrument and fun to learn, and most importantly, it's easy for all ages! Here are 5 reasons to play the ukulele.
Is easy to learn
The ukulele is without a doubt the easiest string instrument to learn! It has only 4 nylon strings, which are soft on your fingers. Its small size facilitates chord progressions and smaller hands, even those of children.
Buying a ukulele is not out of reach. You can buy a good quality ukulele these days for less than $ 2,000 pesos. My first ukulele cost me $ 900 pesos! and it's still one of my favorites to play. Ukuleles come in different sizes (soprano, concert, tenor, and baritone).
It is Friendly and Nice
Anyone, young or old, can play the ukulele. This makes it extremely social. It is not uncommon to find groups dedicated to the ukulele and make new friends.
Fits Many Songs.
You can find the most popular songs of all kinds of genres to learn on the ukulele. Even complicated songs can be simplified into easy chord progressions.
The Technique Can Be Transferred to Other Instruments
Whenever you want, you can easily switch between guitar and ukulele. But once you start to learn chord progressions and improve your rhythm, learning to play another instrument will be much easier.
