Who can you dedicate an altar of dead?

One of the most important dates for us Mexicans is approaching: The Day of the Dead, and if you do not know who to dedicate your altar of dead this next November 02, here we leave you some Ukulelists to whom you can make this beautiful offering.

Elvis Presley

We start with an emblematic singer that you probably know well: Elvis Presley who has delighted us with several songs on this instrument There is even a book published in 1995 with these scores exclusively (Elvis Presley for Ukulele).

Obviously not forgetting to mention the favorite song in the ukulele of all of us by this great artist: "Can't Help Falling In Love"

Israel Kamakawiwoʻole

Another important Suuuuuper character that clearly has to be on our list is Israel Kamakawiwoʻole Does it sound to you? no? So I think you should listen to this:

Have you already recognized him? This great Hawaiian artist who performed the great song of "Over The Rainbow" was one of the most important musicians in the history of ukulele since he had a unique ability to interpret Hawaiian music and fuse it with a touch of the jazz and reggae genre.

Roy Smeck

Did you know the "Magician of the ropes"? Don't you wonder why they called it that? Here is the answer:

They called it that since in the acts he performed he loved to use tricks with the intention of attracting people's attention in a particular way since he played his ukulele even with his teeth or behind his head.

I also make some writings to teach how to play some instruments among which the ukulele stood out.

George Harrison

We talked about him recently, but can not be off the list, former member of the beatles Harrison is one of the most important characters in the history of the ukulele because he was one of the causes of popularizing the ukuleles and a great fan of them.

He was an exceptional musician with a huge collection of ukuleles and with the best heart to give ukuleles to everyone he loved.

These are just some of the most important famous ukulelists to whom we should make one and a thousand altars for the great love they had for the instrument

Who else is missing from the list? Remember to tell us on our social networks!
