UKULELE GREAT WAVE

Alohaaaa !!! Today I want to talk to you about this beautiful ukulele model, the great wave

This ukulele is one of the ukulele favorites, it is a concert size, it has a very good resonance and it is mahogany wood with a design inspired by the work. by the Japanese artist Hokusai Katsushika, it is one of the largest woodblock prints in Japan. The Great Wave was created around 1831 as part of a series of woodcuts called Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji.

The most striking thing about this work is the extended wave that is about to hit the boats and the color used for the waves is a Prussian Blue.

the original painting has wooden dimensions of 39 cm x 26 cm but when represented on a ukulele it gives an original and exceptional appearance.

Special Court:

The cutaway cut presented by this ukulele model helps us to reach higher notes more easily and it is common for them to be made in concert size and tenor.
