The most BEAUTIFUL ukulele story You must read it!

EL UKULELE SAVED MY LIFE

Since I was little, music has flowed through my veins, it has pierced my guts.

Thanks to music, I knew love, invaluable friends, ineffable experiences, moments that in no other way could I have lived if I had not had that extraordinary approach. But you may wonder why the ukulele specifically saved my life?

At the age of 13 I went to study at a School of Artistic Initiation and learned to play the piano. I had always wanted to learn to play the guitar, apart from the fact that I have always loved its sound, I thought about how easy and practical it would be to travel with a guitar, compared to carrying a piano (of course I did not know the ukulele yet).

The story with the ukulele:

I grew up, and began to learn a little guitar, at the same time that I was in high school and then in university, which by the way I entered to study Performing Arts with a terminal line in action so you can understand that art has always been a vital constant in my walk.

The one who knew about music always led me to explore the scene from very interesting places that I would not have been able to otherwise.

Ukulele on stage!

And after 4 years at the University, the acid test finally arrives: Performing a play with live music (played of course by the same actors) and that was when a few people (who did not even know the instrument) raised their hands to play the ukulele in the play.

And it was here that my journey with this wonderful instrument began:

It turns out that after learning to play it, at the end of my degree I was invited to be part of an international training session in Denmark, the only instrument that I could clearly take with me was: The ukulele <3

While in Denmark I trained with him, and not only that, we created a show in which the ukulele accompanied me as well.

After that beautiful adventure and that dream trip that I had with baby ukulele, on the trips that I made, she always accompanied me.

A year ago I had an event in my life that forced me to turn 360 °. The situation that happened hit me so much that I was in depression for several months, crying feeling physically bad, there were times when I felt that I was dying of emotional pain.

And it was in that transition of my life when what I played for feel accompanied It was neither the piano nor the guitar, it was the ukulele. And I realized how good this instrument made me feel because I was not traveling, it was not my only option, I had 2 more instruments at home. And the only thing that motivated me to get up, to clear my mind, and to learn more and more was: the ukulele.

Almost a year has passed since that event and I feel more happy every day to have met him 3 years ago, since that first time I raised my hand so that they could consider I could play him live in the play.
