Day of the Dead Festival in Guadalajara

The day of the dead arrived! And each and every one of us was super excited, not only for the beautiful and meaningful day, but also for the parade of catrinas and catrines that year after year organizes the city.
Our emotion was also due to the fact that for the first time Guadalajara had a Ukuleleria here, in the city, and we were dying to be present at the parade and make a lot of noise.
At no time do we think of staying with the desire, so we summon our best ally: You!
We extend the invitation to join us and live together the experience of "Ukulelizar" the festival.
We received a very good response and we were totally ready and willing to march with all the catrines and catrines on this beautiful holiday.
Saturday came and each of us had his Ukuleles ready, but we came across an unexpected surprise ...
The weather was very ugly, the sky looked totally gray and the rain kept falling.
Because our ukuleles (and surely many of yours), were made of wood, we didn't want to risk wetting them, so with all the pain of our little hearts, we had to cancel the event.
We thought that the day had completely ruined, we had not had our festival and we had been dressed and ruffled.
But, once again, something unexpected came up ...
When we were going back to our little houses, sad and defeated, we coincidentally arrived at the place where the parade was going to end.
What we found was a lot of people dressed in catrinas and catrines, enjoying the last of this holiday.
The team of Ukuleleria, always prepared, did not want to miss the opportunity and even when we thought we would not do it by the circumstances, in the end the emotion ended up winning and each one of us took out his Ukulele, our camera and Ready! The magic began to emerge.
We began to walk among the infinity of people, between the catrines and catrines, to the sound of songs typical of the day of the dead, like "Coco", "Remember me" and "La Llorona".
People soon joined us and together we sang "Cielito lindo", "Piel cinnamon", "17 years", and some other songs.
Each person who approached wore a unique smile, and although they did not know very well the lyrics of the song, they sang with us and the strings of our ukuleles, at full throttle.
We enjoyed like never before, and although it was something unexpected, without a doubt we were left wanting more.
Will you accompany us to the next one?
