DIFFERENCES IN UKULEL SIZES

Okay, yes, we are very interested in this world of Ukulele and this is a tremendously frequent question.
What is the difference in each size of Ukulele?
The ones you've probably heard are:
- Soprano
- Concert
- Tenor
- Baritone
The most similar are the first three, Soprano, Concert and Tenor, since they all play the same, that is, the footsteps they are the same because they have the same tuning in A. The only "different" is that the Baritone is tuned in E, that is, as a guitar.
Some people take into account that literally each size has the name of the tones where you can sing, Sopranos very sharp, Concert "medium" and Tenor quite serious. The exact differences?

UKULELE SOPRANO

El Soprano Ukulele Also called estándar en Hawaii is original size of the first Ukulele. It is the most used in the world, they are usually the most economical and their sound is the most acute, in this we use two tunings different, it usually has an extension of 12 frets and an approximate length of 53 cm in total.

UKULELE CONCERT

El Ukulele Concert it's a little bigger than the soprano With 62 cm of total extension, it is somewhat more comfortable to play, especially if you have large hands, its larger soundboard offers you a stronger volume, a greater depth of sound and more space between the first frets, for these qualities get their name, they usually have 19 tessellation dishes, their tuning is the standard tuning of the ukulele.

UKULELE TENOR

El Tenor Ukulele is sounding board mucho more espacious that the other two sizes, is the one that offers more volume and for its acoustics it is the most serious of all, preserving the original tuning of the ukulele. It offers greater tension in its strings, and with its 68cm long, it allows to have the widest and most separated frets, facilitating fingering and chord formation, the separation between strings also facilitates strumming and arpeggios. It is one of the most busy ukuleles by professional artists for their sound properties

UKULELE BARITONO

The Baritone Ukulele is characteristic of its unique sound very similar to that of a guitar but only has four strings.
You have the longest length With 78 cm long, its tuning is more serious compared to the previous ones, practically equal to the tuning of the normal guitar, if you are a guitarist you will adapt very easily to it, its serious sound departs a bit from the original sound of the ukulele but Its small size construction and its material give it a very characteristic sound compared to an acoustic guitar.
Another feature on the same strings is that the last one is D / Re, usually nylon, the thickest, compared to the normal Ukulele, the thickest is C / Do.
