There are things that are not known much about the ukulele and that I found interesting, such as that the ukulele not originally from Hawaii, although there are many very nice Hawaiian songs that are played with the ukulele, but actually the ukulele comes from about Portuga carpenters sailorsHe, who arrived in Hawaii on a boat along with more Portuguese, from there we could say that the roots of the ukulele were advancing. One day, a Hawaiian saw how one of the Portuguese played that instrument very fast, so they called it ukulele, uke meant flea and lele meant jumping or jumping, so in Spanish it is called PULGA SALTARIANA. It is also worth mentioning that the ukulele or ukulele is not only 4 strings, that among many other things.
There are some things that I found interesting when learning about the history of the ukulele and that I feel that beginners or curious people would love to know, or maybe you already know and here you could find something else: like the ukulele or ukulele you have different sizesOne of them called "sopranino" that measures 28 cm, is the smallest, there is also the "soprano" that measures 35 cm, then the "concert" that measures 38.5 cm, the "tenor" that measures 43 cm, and the most big which is the "baritone" which measures 51.5 cm.
Another is that the ukulele is divided into three parts, Like the headstock, which is where the pegs that hold the strings are and where they can be tuned, there is also the nut that white separation that is between the headstock and the neck, it helps to separate the strings one from another, then there is the neck, that long stick with those small gaps, the gap between them is called "frets", the next part is called the body that is made up of the mouth, which is that circle or that hole that helps the sound and the bridge that is the one that holds the strings tightly attached and lifts the strings to make them sound good.
You also have to know that each string has its number and name, string one is the bottom one called A or A, string number two called Mi or E, string number 3 called Do or C, and the top one is the string number 4 called G or G. Another fact is that with the right or left hand if you are surda or surdo, you do two things, strumming, which is playing all the strings at the same time, or arpeggios, which is playing the strings one by one.
Let us emphasize that there are acoustic and electro-acoustic ukuleles, among other combinations, that are very useful for people who want to go a step further in that regard, and there are many more things, but that is what I think you should know more about. .
Ukulele music is not a specific genre, there are many arrangers and ensembles where the ukulele is incorporated. There are famous pieces and hits with ukulele such as: "Can't help falling in Love" immortalized by Elvis Presley, "Over the Rainbow" that was part of the work the wizard of oz and is world renowned, where the ukulele notes are the particularity.
Personally, I think it is one of the easiest instruments to play, mentioning that it has a very nice and beautiful sound, also that it is a small instrument that you can carry everywhere. I started playing it for a singer named Tyler josep, which accompanies some of his songs with the ukulele, in the same way that I love its sound, it is a sound that brightens your life and makes you have a better attitude, brightens the soul and makes the heart dance.
I think the ukulele is a very versatile instrument, it adapts to any music, you can make it sound slow or very fast. I love to play rock, or pop, or reggae. You can have a whole time playing fast songs, or relax playing slow songs that sound good, for example, songs with arpeggios or with the most difficult chords, varied whatever your taste at the time, the best thing about it is that with the ukulele you always end up you always end up enjoying whatever you want to touch.
My dream is to play jazz, or any song that has arpeggios.
and to conclude after all this that you just read, What do you think about the ukulele? Would you like to be able to play that song that you like so much? Would you dare to give your all to play even the most difficult chords?
Whatever your response, take heart! , do not give up that everything is possible as long as you do not stop trying, or practicing, great things bring great triumphs and good learning, try until you get it! .
