Hello, my name is Karin and I am 12 years old and now I am going to tell you how the Ukulele entered my life.
My mom got separated from my dad and then she met Gus. He sold juggling and had two stores, one in Guadalajara and the other in Mexico City.
We went to live in Bucerias, a beach near Puerto Vallarta and Gus introduced us to a friend of his who sold paddles and had a kitesurfing school and one day he decided to sell some very beautiful and colorful ukuleles. My mom and Gus went to buy them a paddle and I showed them their ukuleles and they fell in love with them and bought one. Gus had the idea of having a ukulele shop and together with my mom they made the UKULELERIA.
Me and my brother Regge loved the ukulele so we asked Santa Claus for one, as we were very young, we did not play it well and we used it as a toy but the years passed and we became more and more interested in the ukulele, my mother became super She was good at the ukulele and we asked her to teach us, so we started learning and I already know about the ukulele: la bamba, riptide, bella ciao, what a wonderful world, over the rainbow ...
And now UKULELERIA has a website and much more.
And this is the story of HOW I ENTER THE UKULELE IN MY LIFE and how the Ukuleleria started.
