A very noble contest, where the most important thing is to know the history of each one.
On instagram we made a statement where we called them all and this is one of the stories.
Addamari Herrera Lara, Mérida, Yucatán.
Being at home in the company of my ukulele is serenity, it is being able to disconnect from the chaos and let go, being able to sit in the middle of the silence of my home in the moonlight and inspire myself enjoying the melodious sound of the 4 strings that have become my best friends.
When I play the ukulele I feel free, like I'm not trapped at home, all I need is my beautiful instrument, swinging on the sounds that relax my mind and my heart, making me happy with each note played, to be able to learn, practice, compose, play, sing, smile, inspire, all thanks to that incredible instrument, my favorite.
The current situation gave me the time that I needed and I could not enjoy because of all my worries and frustrations of work, of university life. Now I can be happy again with small and comforting situations like listening to the melodies composed by other artists, trying to draw the chords and the satisfying pain of the fingers after having played all day.
There is so much love that I have for her that I wish that everyone could enjoy this sensation, this inexplicable sensation; I discovered happiness, my identity, something that I really love and makes me more than happy, so during this contingency I try to teach my nephew to touch because I would like the people I love the most to learn to feel that passion through this instrument.
Before meeting the ukulele I was a totally different person, I couldn't make sense of anything, I felt like I was just walking the streets without a goal, but the ukulele changed my life, yes, I changed it completely, I started to smile, to enjoy really from life, many will think how absurd that sounds, but it is real, it is as if he had closed all my fears and insecurities, thanks ukulele, thanks for becoming someone else, thanks for making me happy just with your four strings and soundtracks melodies. ❤️
