How can I tell if my ukulele is buckled ?, My ukulele buzzes Is it normal ?, How can I make chords easier?
These are some of the questions that our friends send us most to The Ukulelería , that's why we wrote this blog with the 6 things you won't want to spend with your ukulele.
It seems strong, but it isn't, our little friend need a lot of love and care above all if you don't use it, you will have to loosen the ropes to avoid buckling (that is, the arm begins to beat and forms a curve with its body), most ukuleles have small arms lacking Alma, we recommend you take special care with your box as it is fragile and with a good blow (even in its case) it can suffer irreversible damage or cause an unwanted sound due to the detachment of some of its parts, which can cause it to emit a strange hum, although there may be more causes to sound like this.
Most ukuleles are made of wood, and for that reason it is recommended that do not expose yourself to any kind of moisture since this can cause swelling in the wood, detachment of the assemblies that can cause buzzing, weakening of the arm, rust in keys, deterioration of the varnish, among other things.
This is why many people prefer to use plastic ukuleles when they go on vacation to the beach or camping.
This seems very simple, but you have to be very careful when transporting them because being very small is likely to be forgotten, so be careful this could be terrible, it is best to get a cover to protect it.
No doubt this is something that nobody wants but that can happen without realizing it when making a strumming with bad technique, we may scrape the lid of our ukulele with our nails. It also commonly occurs when touched with a spike improperly.
Another case is when we rest and we recharge it somewhere that is not stable or we don't save it and leave it lying around.
On one occasion a boy who came to the store told us that he took his ukulele to the beach and that he was very ugly with the sand, so If you take it to the beach you must take into account some recommendations.
This is one of the most common mistakes we make when we start in the world of the ukulele, due to our inexperience when adjusting the tuning of the strings there are times that we make more tension than a string is capable of supporting and it breaks, have careful that when tuning you are located at what distance range is your desired sound string, that is, identify if it is serious or acute in relation to the sound it should be. That is why it is advisable to know how to put a ukulele rope y how to fine tune it.
This is one of the most common problems because in practice copy positions can be confusing, since the tabs do not indicate that finger treads that string, that is why we recommend that you be very observant not always the most comfortable position is the correct one, practice a lot of fingering and investigate because when playing the chords badly it is likely that after it is difficult for you to move further.
We share this tutorial of practical tips for changing chords more easily.
I love the ukulele and all its world

Usually they get shiny when touched because the sweat of your body greases it a little, the matt part is dry so that it levels a bit you should clean with a liquid that is for matt finishes that is not fatty because if you use one that is fatty will leave it completely shiny

A huge doubt, recently bought a good and good ukulele in the part of the good cover where the right arm is placed it seems that it is more smooth and polished, but everything else is as opaque (that's the ukulele) I think it could be that it was allied by the friction of the arm with the wood or that it could be as impregnated grease, someone who could help me!
Good post :)
